Grassroots Campaign - Realty Transfer Tax

Serving as communications lead, the association ran a campaign to defeat a legislative proposal to increase the realty transfer tax. Based on the theme of Stop Taxing the American Dream, the multi-faceted campaign, which ran over the course of three years, included my work on branding and marketing for the campaign, creating collateral materials, writing content for the newsletter, press releases, op-eds and letters to the editor. There were a number of targeted audiences for this campaign, including the members, the general public, the media and state legislators. This campaign ran over several legislative sessions but was ultimately successful!
